MealEnders Review and Giveaway

Through my role as a SweatPink Ambassador, I was sent four complimentary packs of MealEnders Signaling Lozenges in exchange for my review.

The opinions expressed are, as always, completely my own.  🙂

You know what nobody told me would happen if I trained for a marathon?  Nobody told me that I would actually gain weight!  I have gained about 5 pounds with each marathon!  Sadly, I’m not exaggerating at all… I’ve ran 2 marathons to date, and I am almost exactly 10 pounds heavier than I was before trained for my first.  The reason?  Overeating.  Sure, when I have 50 mile week I need to increase the amount I’m eating, because I am burning so much.  But, when my mileage goes back down, my appetite does not follow suit!

That is why I was so excited for a chance to try MealEnders!  And even more exciting?! I get to give away 4 Packs of MealEnders to one of you lucky readers!  (My First Giveaway)!

MealEnders come in 4 flavors: Chocolate Mint, Cinnamon, Citrus, and Mocha.  I actually enjoyed all four flavors!  The Citrus kind of tastes like Key Lime Pie, and Cinnamon like a snickerdoodle…  But since I’m kind of a chocolate girl, the Mocha and Chocolate Mint were my favorites!  Initially, you taste the dessert flavor that melts away, and leaves a menthol/cooling center. The “cooling sensation” is a little hard to describe, but it’s good.  It kind of cleans your palate, and leaves a fresh taste in your mouth.  Similar to brushing your teeth.

Do they work?  Well, MealEnders don’t claim to be a “magic pill” for extreme weight loss, because that’s not what they do.  Instead, they make you a little more aware of what you’re putting into your mouth, which is absolutely a good thing!

Instead of taking a 2nd (or 4th!) helping, or eating until my plate is clean even though I’m no longer hungry, I pop a lozenge into my mouth and move on!  I have also begun to keep a few in my car and my purse…

(I would show a picture of them in my purse, but then you would know I’m a total mess, and I obviously don’t have my life together at all).  😉

When I’m out and about and I consider a Cafe Mocha from Starbucks, or a stop for fast food before picking up my son from preschool, I instead grab a MealEnders, and then wait until the craving passes, or I get home and make my own lunch.  Its a small change, but helps a lot!

MealEnders really do help with the mindless eating I usually do all day long!
