#LoveBulu: A Bulu Box Review

This post is sponsored by Bulu through my affiliation with FitApproach.  As always, all opinions are my own.

Ok, so I LOVE subscription boxes! The element of surprise is just so much fun!  So when I got the chance to try out a Bulu Box for review, of course I was thrilled! I had never heard of Bulu Box before, but according to their website, “Bulu Box is the first health, nutrition and weight loss discovery box designed to help you feel your best.”  Which, happens to be right up my alley!

First off, I love their packaging!  Even before I opened it, I was happy to read all the fun motivation on the box.

When I opened the box, I wasn’t sure what to expect…

Here’s a breakdown of what I found inside:

  1. A sample pack of Simple Being: Simple Diet.  Which is essentially a diet pill, and not really something I’d be interested.  So, that was the only product I didn’t really try, and I don’t think two capsules would be enough for me to really tell the effectiveness of the product.
  2. A .21oz sample of Earth’s Care Anti-Itch cream.  Now, this one was a fairly good sized sample.  It’s a nice thick cream, and smells really nice.  Perfect to use on the mosquito bites the my kids come in with every time they step outside!
  3. Runa Focused Energy tea sample.  It was a yummy tea!  Did it help me focus my energy, I don’t know.  One cup of tea isn’t really going to make a difference, but I enjoyed it and would probably purchase it if I saw it in a store.
  4. A full sized bag of Fusion Jerky Lemon Pepper chicken jerky.  Now, I would not have considered myself a jerky fan, but this was really good!  I went through the entire bag a lot faster than I would care to admit.  😉  I’d never tried chicken jerky before, but it was really yummy, (not to mention, a great source of protein)!
  5. The last item in the box was a pack of Movit Energy Gummies.  I threw these in my pocket before my long run this past weekend.  The flavor was supposed to be Citrus.  While they didn’t really taste very “Citrus-y” to me, the were still pretty good, and seemed to do the job on my run, I finished strong.

Overall, I was happy with the box I received.  The cool thing about the Bulu Box is that you can take a survey beforehand, that way the box you receive is catered more towards what you are looking for in health and fitness items.  Which I think is great.

The best news?  If you think you may want to try Bulu Box yourself, you can use the code SWEATPINK and receive 50% off a 3, 6, or 12 month subscription!!

Do you subscribe to any surprise boxes?  Have you tried Bulu Box?
