#HydroStrong – Kamagon Ball Workouts and Review

This post is sponsored by Hedstrom Fitness through my affiliation with FitApproach.  As always, all opinions are my own.

Do you get excited about new workouts?

While running will always be my first fitness love, it is always fun to try something new!  That’s why I was thrilled when given the opportunity to add the Kamagon Ball to my workouts.

The Kamagon Ball is a pretty cool piece of equipment.  It adds resistance and instability to your strength training using hydro-inertia.  The Kamagon Ball on its own is lightweight, but you fill it with water to whatever weight works for you, from 4-12 lbs. As you’re working out, the water is constantly moving and adding resistance, which engages your core so much more than static weights, such as kettle bells and dumbells, would.

It’s great, because you don’t have to learn any new workouts to use the Kamagon Ball, just use it as you would your traditional weights, and enjoy the benefits of moving water.

As a bonus, here are four workouts you can do with your Kamagon Ball!

(Don’t have a Kamagon Ball?  Try them with any weights you have, or read to the end of this post to find a discount code).

Workout #1

squats w/ overhead press
reverse lunge w/ oblique twists
standing rows
bicep curls
v-ups

Workout #2

  2. These look so cool. I’m always looking for workouts to do at home that mix things up!

    😛

  4. It’s cool that you can adjust the weight with water so that you can make it more challenging as you get stronger! My fav piece of equipment right now is a kettlebell, since I feel like I can do a lot with it at home in a short period of time.
