Holiday Gift Guide for Runners

Still looking for that perfect gift for a runner in your life?  Well, look no further!  I have put together  a quick list of some of my favorite running items, and a few things that are on my own running wish list.

1. First off, winter running gear!  Sometimes it is hard to get out when its freezing outside.  But new winter gear is guaranteed to motivate a runner to bundle up get some miles in. Whether its gloves, ear warmers, or cozy winter layers, a runner is always happy put them to use right away!  And, trust me, there can never be too much running gear.  Ever.

2.  I have mentioned before that I don’t really like waist packs to carry things on my run.  They are bulky, and they bounce around or ride up.  Well, I have changed my mind!  I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Flipbelt recently, and I will tell you, if you need to carry something with you on a run, a Flipbelt is the best way to do that.

  Flipbelt

My “fanny pack” never looked so good!

Really, I can’t say enough good things about my Flipbelt.  It stays put, looks good with all my running clothes, and even holds my enormous new phone.  Plus it comes in SO many great colors.

If you are interested in getting a Flipbelt yourself, leave me a comment, or send me a message.  I have few exclusive coupon codes for 33% off!   Or, use code Sweat10 for 10% (But, 33% is better, right?!)  😉

3.  The next item on the list are PRO Compression marathon socks.

I have actually never tried these.  I included them on the list, because I am really hoping to get a pair!  Just in case anyone I know is reading this and still looking for an idea for me.  😉   They are supposed to be really beneficial for recovery after a long run, and I have heard nothing but good things about these compression socks!

4. Fourth on my list is my absolute favorite gift!  If you want to be the  best Santa ever, then a Race Entry is the way to go!  Seriously, If I could, I would run a race every weekend.   Receiving entry to a race would be sure to make any runner over the moon happy!

5.  Lastly, we runners are proud of our accomplishments.  (Just look at the stickers on our cars). 😉   These numbers represent a lot to us.  Months of training and hard work.  A gift to commemorate these accomplishments are always welcome.

A coffee mug with a 26.2 on it? or a necklace with 13.1?  The runner on your list is sure to love it!

There it is.  My list of must have gifts!  Hope it helped you find the perfect gift for your runner, (or yourself!)

  1. I love my FlipBelt and ProCompression socks – you will live in them, oh I mean love them! ha ha. Race registrations for gifts are fantastic!
I’ve asked for a new pair of winter running pants….gotta get ready for the weather 🙂

  2. Just found this, and it’s best the flipbelt advert I’ve seen yet. Are you wearing it WITH a skirt in the picture above? I have a hipsSister, but now that I’m losing weight, it slides around too much! So I need to replace it with another…or with a flipbelt. I’d be grateful for the 33% discount code if you still have one – thanks!
